A small town nestled in the Yarra Valley, Marysville was the location of the awful Black Saturday Bushfires in February 2009. I was fortunate enough to visit the town 10 years later, incredibly surprised by the regrowth and enduring attitudes of the residents.

Although signs of fire are still visible all across the landscape, the ways in which this habitat has regrown is truly remarkable.
